I started as a bricklayer back in 2001. Old-school apprenticeship. Long days; No shortcuts. My first boss, Reiner, was from Germany and is still the best bricklayer I’ve ever seen. His tolerance for poor work was zero. If something was out, it came down and got rebuilt. That approach stuck with me. Do it properly, or don’t do it at all.
Working across residential and commercial remediation showed me what happens when corners are cut. Waterproofing failures, Structural issues, Expensive problems that homeowners never should’ve had to deal with. Seeing that day in and day out made me obsessive about doing things right the first time.
Established in 2016 in the heart of New South Wales, Marvel Concept Build has now been operating for 10 years, backed by much deeper trade
experience. I hold a NSW Builder’s Licence for Class 1 and 10, licences in bricklaying and carpentry, a Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry licence, plus a Certificate IV and Diploma in Building.
